It is made for people who want a little more clarity about their own situation without being told what to believe. And it is deliberately the opposite of the moody, mystical tarot app: warm, plain-spoken, a little playful, and straight about what it is.
Reflection, not prediction
Set aside whether tarot can see the future. Clayfold doesn't claim it can, and it doesn't need it to — because even a reliable forecast wouldn't be much use to you. A good one invites you to sit back and wait for it. A bad one leaves you anxious about something you have just been told you can't change. Either way, you have been handed a reason to do nothing.
So the useful part of a reading was never the prediction. Knowing more about the future wouldn't help you. Noticing more about yourself might.
