How can we help?
Clayfold is a reflection app that uses tarot as its mechanism — a quiet way to see yourself more clearly. It’s launching soon. If you’re testing an early build or have a question, a real person will read your message.
We read every message and usually reply within two to three days. Telling us your device and iOS version helps us help you faster.
Common questions
a few things people ask
What is Clayfold?
A reflection app. It uses tarot as a mirror for your own insight — a way to notice what you already sense and decide what to do with it. The cards are a starting point for reflection, not a source of predictions.
Is this fortune-telling?
No. Clayfold doesn’t foretell your future or promise outcomes. Every reading is an interpretation, not a verdict. Keep what feels useful, question what doesn’t — you make the call.
Do I need an account?
No. No account, email, or real-world identity is required to use the cards or draw a reading.
Is my reading private?
Readings work on your device by default, and your written question stays on the device unless you choose otherwise. Personalized readings are optional — only when you turn them on do your question and selected cards leave the device to be interpreted by a third-party AI service.
The full details of what is sent, stored, and for how long are in our Privacy Policy.
Is there a limit on personalized readings?
There’s a fair-use limit of 10 personalized readings per day, which resets each day at midnight UTC. It’s there to catch runaway or automated use — not to ration your reading. It sits many times above what everyday use looks like, so you shouldn’t meet it in normal use. If you do, and it’s getting in your way, email and we’ll sort it out.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, open Settings → Delete Server Reading Data. Readings you deliberately saved live in your own iCloud or on your device; you can remove those the same way you manage anything you’ve saved. If you’d like a hand, email .
Is Clayfold a substitute for professional help?
No. It’s an everyday tool for reflection — not a therapist, coach, crisis service, or medical, legal, or financial advice. If you’re in distress or may be in danger, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your area.
